Hej denna soliga torsdag. Här börjar dagen som vanligt med Nymo (Nyhetsmorgon), kaffe, finncrisp med ost och en skål naturell yoghurt med müsli. Bebis ligger antingen på mig och äter eller jollrandes bredvid. Underbara liv.
Idag känner jag mig dock trött och nere då vi igår sa "vi ses igen" till farfar som hastigt avlidit efter en tids kämpande. Lilla farfar- så saknad. Han var den i vår släkt som höll mest låda och var/älskade att vara mittpunkten. Det blir alltså minst sagt tyst och tomt utan honom. Han har dock inte varit sig själv på väldigt länge då han haft ont och varit trött. Hans enda önskan var att få må bättre. Han sa hela tiden "det ska vi göra så fort jag mår bättre" när man ville hitta på något med honom. Han ville inte dö- han älskade livet och oss, älskade människor och att socialisera men han sa på slutet att detta inte var ett liv att leva. Han kunde inte göra alla de saker som han älskade och mådde bra av. När farfar var frisk var han ofta ute på stan, skojade med "gubbarna nere vid Coop" och kassabiträdena i butikerna. Han och farmor har alltid bott mitt i Lund i en lägenhet där vi haft lätt att komma inom på en kopp eller fått ställa bilen på deras parkering vid biobesök. Han pratade med alla i det huset, skojade med cykelhandlaren nere på gatan. Varje fredag kom han hem med en fredagsbukett till farmor eller till mig med för den delen om jag råkade få in mitt besök den dagen. Farfar var aldrig virrig eller kändes gammal. Han var alltid modernt inställd och mode var något som var väldigt viktigt för honom. Mode som också kom att begränsa honom på slutet då han inte ville visa sig ute då han inte kände sig fin.
Döden tog den 10 oktober 2016 min farfar ifrån mig och därför valde jag att med orden "Minnena och kärleken du gav kan ingen ta ifrån oss" hylla farfars tid här på jorden. Ett brev skickade jag också med och framme vid kistan la jag ett kort på honom och mig dansandes bugg på min 25 års fest år 2010. Det är så han ska minnas och det är farfar för mig. Han hade den finaste vita kista jag sett och alla blommor runtomkring gjorde begravningen till ett fint och vackert sista minne av farfar. Nu kommer fokus ligga på att mysa med lilla farmor <3
